Data & AI Community

One place where all cohorts come together, and that keeps going after the program.

The layer above the cohorts

A community keeps going after the cohorts end. It is where people from different cohorts and departments share what they built, and it is what is still there when the program is done.

What it is

A data & AI community connects all the cohorts in your organization: one place, in Teams or on your intranet, where people share use cases, ask questions and show what they built. New joiners walk into something that already exists.

Company-wide kick-off. It starts with one moment for the whole organization, with leadership visibly on board, so the program reads as a change and not as an e-learning assignment.

Run by us, then by you. A Learner Engagement Manager runs the community on a fixed rhythm: posts, challenges, and a monthly session where colleagues show their work. Step by step your champions take over, with us in the background. Already have a champion or data community? Then we plug into it instead of starting a second one.

How it works

  1. Kick off: one live moment for the whole organization, with leadership behind it.
  2. Build the home: a channel in Teams or on your intranet, and a rhythm people can count on.
  3. Connect the cohorts: use cases and questions move between cohorts and departments, not just within one group.
  4. Hand it over: your champions and L&D take the lead, we step back.

Why this works

  • A shared start sets expectations across the whole organization
  • Use cases travel between departments instead of staying in one cohort
  • New joiners grow into the same framework from day one
  • The community carries the program once the formal part ends

In practice

500+ learners

At PGGM we manage the Data Club, the community of their Data & AI Academy for 500+ learners, next to a company-wide kick-off and keynotes. SHV Energy's Data & AI School opened in July 2026 with a kick-off by the CDTO, cohorts mixed across functions and business units so no cohort is a silo, and a Teams channel per cohort.
